Condition

This blade is a wonderful example of Liangzhu workmanship. These ceremonial objects would be attached to a wooden handle by its biconically drilled holes at the top/center of the blade. This work is deliberatly asymmetrical, unlike other trapezoidal examples from the period. The color is mostly bone white with rust discolorations from centuries of burial. This work is expertly carved and in excellent condition considering its age and has no chips or scratches. This object DOES NOT have a display base.
