Condition

The quality of the nephrite selected to create this work is about as fine an example as one could hope to encounter. The stone is highly expressive with compact monoclinic masses of pale khaki green, ripe olive green, and dusty brown. These masses are encircled by dark brown/black veins, giving them striking definition. The surface is extremely even and smooth, and it's edges are rigid and flat. The size of this bi is imposing at nearly twenty inches in diameter, and is in very fine condition with almost no cracks, chips, or scratches. This work ships with a custom made steel display base.
