The feline pendant is carved from a pale green jade with minor alteration on the top of its back and ear. Its head faces downward and has an open growling mouth with its ears flat against its head. The sides of its body are decorated in stylized stripes, while its top/back is decorated in a rhombus pattern. There are two perforations that are incorporated into the overall design, one at the curl of the tail, the other through the open mouth.
