The animal appears as a hybrid tiger-deer. The creature is decorated on both sides with symmetrical double hook shaped patterns. Its eyes are narrow and fierce and its jaws are open, exposing sharp teeth. From its head sprout a pair of blunt, muntjac deer horns sprout from its crown. It boys appears in a crouching pose, ready to pounce. The suspension perforation runs through the top of it back and out through its belly.
