The deer appears pensive as he gazes towards the sky. He is at rest with all four legs tucked underneath him. His antlers have the appearance of long hair draped over his rump. His body is decorated in simple cloud and hook patterns. The jade is flat, translucent, and mostly pale green. There is a suspension perforation through the deer's neck.
